Richárd came to filmmaking from journalism and television, where he worked as a cameraman, editor and made portrait films of several artists. He graduated from Budapest Metropolitan University in 2017 as a cameraman, where he also wrote the screenplay for his graduation film. In 2021 he continued his studies at Budapest Metropolitan University in, where he studied for a Master's degree in cinematography. In 2023, he shot his first feature length documentary as a cinematographer, which tells the story of the years of the Yugoslavian war through the friendship of six women. He is currently developing a documentary series with Viktória Dénes entitled Frozen Ocean, which will be shot mostly in the remote regions of the Arctic Circle.
